Her practice engages the unbridgability of our existence and the fabric that exists otherwise instead of that unbridgeability. Her process activates the sensory codes developed in the space of what is unlanguagable within the limited parameters of western thoughts about blackness. Her work languages the unlanguagable exploring notions around alienation, transitions, spiritual identity and transcendence, redefining epistemologies of resistance from a deeply intimate place.

An evolving and ever-shifting entity, cultivating her expansive creativity from unmasked shame and long endured implications of existing as a black queer artist in a perpetual state of exile. Her body of work forms part of a self-healing meditation, a process that she describes as intuitive, delicate and personal.
