Nima Séne

Nima Aida Séne (aka B2B), based in Berlin/Glasgow, is a transdisciplinary award winning artist, trained in a dance-theatre youth company for seven years at the TanzTangente Berlin under Nadia Raszweski and at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland Drama School in Glasgow.

Their practice works with writing, directing/facilitating, moving, music/sound, film/moving image, performance/acting. Their work encompasses directing for film embedded in live performance/moving image/live theatre performance and working as a performer_poet_maker_vocalist and as an artist assistant and arts organisation consultant on diversity and inclusion. Séne’s practice is fundamentally collaborative, their work traverses belonging, alienation and humour, with inspirations ranging from Gabor Maté to Beckett to Solange. Séne has worked with, Adura Onashile, Joana Tischkau, Stewart Laing, Tramway, The Work Room, Fierce, Arts Admin, Live Art UK, Frascati, Berliner Festspiele, BuZZcut, Take Me Somewhere, Sophiensaele and National Theater of Scotland.
