Laura Edmans

Laura (she/her and they/them) has worked in a producing capacity with Brownton Abbey since 2019.

Laura is primarily focussed on working with marginalised communities and with artists and creatives of intersecting identities. She works with the wider Marlborough Productions team, as a freelance fundraising/development associate, project assistant and was Interim General Manager (2022). She also works on Radical Rhizomes, as project coordinator.

Laura is a trained audio describer for theatre and performance, and works with VocalEyes, increasing accessibility for blind and partially sighted people.

She has previously worked for AudioActive, Writing Our Legacy, Brighton Dome and Brighton Festival, Attenborough Centre for the Creative Arts, and in a producing capacity for Goat and Monkey and SHHE, as well as various roles in and out of the arts.
